Smart Tasks are AI-driven recommendations generated by Ranksphere to help you optimize your Google Business Profile (GBP) performance and keep your listings up to date.

Can I Delete a Smart Task?
No — Smart Tasks cannot be deleted. They are designed to stay visible until the recommendation is no longer relevant or is completed.
However:
- You can choose to ignore a task if it’s not applicable
- Ignored tasks will still appear on your dashboard (grayed out or marked as dismissed)
This ensures you always have a full picture of what’s been suggested and what was skipped.
Can I Modify a Smart Task?
Smart Tasks cannot be modified manually since they’re automatically generated by Ranksphere’s system. However, you can:
- ✅ Leave comments on a task to collaborate with your team
- ✅ Tag or assign team members to take ownership

How to Share a Smart Task With My Team
To share and enable Smart Tasks across your team:
- Go to Admin Settings in your Workspace
- Toggle on “Enable Smart Tasks”
- Once enabled, Smart Tasks will appear for all assigned locations and can be viewed, commented on, and assigned by team members
This feature helps teams stay aligned, take action faster, and never miss an opportunity to improve a location’s performance.
