    Google Review Management in Ranksphere allows you to view and reply to customer reviews across all your connected Google Business Profile (GBP) locations — without needing to log into Google.

    With this feature, you can:

    • Reply to reviews directly from your Ranksphere workspace
    • Assign reviews to team members or clients for response
    • Use internal comments to collaborate on tone or messaging
    • Enable an approval workflow for review replies (optional)

    Can I Reply to Reviews Directly in Ranksphere?

    Yes — you can respond to any customer review directly inside Ranksphere.

    To reply:

    1. Go to the Reviews tab under your location
    2. Click on the review
    3. Type your response
    4. Click “Reply”

    🔁 Your reply is published to Google via the official GBP API. It may take a few minutes to appear publicly depending on Google’s processing time.

    What Are “Comments” in GBP Reviews?

    Comments are internal notes attached to a specific review — visible only to your team or client collaborators.

    They’re useful for:

    • Asking for a suggested response
    • Adding context about the customer or situation
    • Collaborating before publishing a reply

    💬 These comments are not visible to the public or Google.

    How to Assign a Review to a Team Member

    To assign a review to someone:

    1. Open the Reviews tab
    2. Click on the review you want to assign
    3. Use the “Assignee” dropdown to select a team member or client
    4. Optionally leave a comment with instructions

    Assigned users will see the review under their “Assigned to Me” filter and can reply or request approval.

    How Does the Approval System Work in Review Management?

    The approval workflow works the same way as in Q&A and GBP Posts:

    1. A team member or client drafts a review reply
    2. The status is set to “Pending Approval”
    3. An admin or manager reviews and approves the reply
    4. Once approved, the response is published to Google

    This workflow helps maintain professionalism, brand consistency, and oversight — especially useful for agencies or multi-location teams.

    🔐 Approval Mode can be turned on or off in Workspace Settings.
