    A Workspace in Ranksphere is your main control center — the place where you manage everything related to your Google Business Profiles (GBP).

    Each workspace includes:

    • Multiple users with customizable roles and permissions (great for teams or clients)
    • Multiple locations, depending on your subscription plan
    • Access to scan history, local rank tracking, performance analytics, and GBP management tools

    It helps you stay organized, especially if you manage different clients, regions, or brands. You can label, filter, and group locations easily, assign tasks, and monitor SEO performance across all connected profiles — all in one place.

    How to Connect a Google Business Profile Location

    To connect a GBP location in Ranksphere:

    1. Go to “Location”
    2. Click “Add New Location”

    3. Sign in with the Google account that manages your GBP.
    4. Select the locations you want to connect

    Once connected, Ranksphere will sync your GBP data and allow ongoing management from within the platform.

    Note: You must have Owner or Manager permissions in Google Business to connect a location.

    How Many Locations Can I Manage?

    The number of locations you can manage in Ranksphere depends on your subscription plan.

    • On the Growth Plan, you can manage up to 30 locations by default.
    • If you need more, you can easily purchase additional location add-ons for $10 per location.

    Each add-on includes full access to all features available in your current plan — no restrictions.

    As an Admin or Workspace Owner, you can always check how many locations you’re allowed to add by visiting your Home Dashboard.

    How to Share a Location With Another User

    With Ranksphere, you can share specific Google Business Profile (GBP) listings with team members or clients—without giving them full account access. Here’s how:

    1. Click your avatar “👤” on the top most right and click “Settings
    2. Navigate to the Teams & Permissions tab.

    3. Select the user you want to share the location with.

    4. Click on the Roles & Permissions tab.
    5. Under Add Locations, choose the location(s) you want them to access.

    6. Click “Save Changes”

    That’s it! The selected user will now see and manage those locations from their own Ranksphere dashboard.

    Important Notes:

    • The user must have an active Ranksphere account.
    • Role-based permissions ensure they only access what they’re allowed to—ideal for teams and clients.
    • This does not give them direct access to your Google account. They’ll manage the listing through Ranksphere’s tools only.

    Are Changes Made in Ranksphere Synced to My Google Business Profile?

    Yes — any approved changes made in Ranksphere are synced directly to Google Business Profile via Google’s API.

    You can:

    • Update your business name, description, hours, website, categories, photos, etc.
    • Schedule and post GBP updates (Google Posts)
    • Reply to reviews or questions

    Note: Google may take a few minutes to reflect changes, and some updates (especially sensitive ones like business names or categories) may require manual review or verification by Google.

    How to Find a Location in My Workspace

    To quickly find a location:

    1. Go to your Locations Dashboard
    2. Use the Search bar to type in the business name, address, or store ID.

    Why Are My GBP Changes Not Showing in Ranksphere?

    There are a few reasons your changes may not appear immediately:

    • Sync Delay: Changes may take a few minutes to update via Google’s API
    • Pending Review: Google may delay showing changes (especially for name/category updates)
    • Permission Issues: Your connected Google account may no longer have access
    • Google API Delays: Sometimes Google’s API experiences temporary sync delays

    🛠️ How to Fix It

    • Click “Sync Again” to manually refresh
    • Confirm your Google account still has the correct access
    • Wait a few minutes and check again
